Cal Crilly- I’m talking to Michael Ellner of the HEAL organization over in New York.
Michael, I was just wondering how long has the HEAL organization actually been going for and how did it start?
Michael Ellner- HEAL started 22 years ago in 1982, and it started as a way to oppose the very, very aggressive chemotherapies and radiations that were offered early in AIDS prior to AZT. And as a group we looked at alternative non-toxic treatments and we believed that it was insane to give people who claimed to be immune suppressed, toxic drugs that were known historically to eliminate the immune system.
CC- So they gave you chemotherapy before HIV was even declared, back then?
ME- Early in AIDS when it was still called GRIDS, Gay Related Immune Deficiency which was the first face this thing had, it was viewed as primarily a gay cancer. KS.
CC- Kaposi’s Sarcoma?
ME- Exactly, and the aggressive treatments were intense chemotherapy, experimental chemotherapies and radiation in amounts that were mind blowing.
So, this was steeped in hysteria and just to offer an alternative we formed to create like a safe environment for people to come in and talk about their experiences with the hope of helping people find alternative approaches.
CC- So how big has the HEAL organization become now?
ME- Well, we have about twenty chapters around the world each of them are independent and autonomous, we share our name in logo, and we have as a group have had contact with about a hundred thousand people over the years, maybe even more.
CC- You’ve had a lot of good success stories I presume?
ME- Well, yes, (but) on the bigger picture it’s really a failure because most people take the tests, take the treatments, follow the mainstream advice and we’ve never been able to make a dent in that machine.
When people find their way to us we’ve seen a lot of benefits, a lot of people have been able to take charge of their health. Our particular focus of late since 1985 was people who were testing positive on this ridiculous test, this completely bogus test, and then trying to keep these people off chemotherapies.
You know, one of the terrible misrepresentations is people who test positive who are assumptively said to be infected aren’t sick, and if they have low T-cells they are counted as AIDS cases. So in America and in the West you have over 50% of current AIDS cases involving people who aren’t sick with any diseases which in my opinion is criminal and clearly reflects that something is wrong with the main theory.
And now they’re taking combination therapies so the main killer is not an AIDS disease but rather liver failure, which would be an obvious indication the treatments are killing these people if anyone paid attention, but unfortunately this is something that affects gay men and I.V. drug users and people aren’t paying attention.
CC- Do you have any contact with people in Africa at all?
ME- Yes we do, I’ve made the trip to Africa myself and we’ve made a number of contacts and there it’s even uglier because there you have millions and millions of people who are starving to death, who are living in subhuman conditions and instead of fixing their infrastructure, instead of feeding them, instead of cleaning up the polluted water, they’re offering condoms and deadly medicines.
So if we paid attention to what’s going on in Africa, it is true, Africa is being devastated by a number of immune breakdown’s related to malnourishment, related to parasitic infections, related to the classic diseases of poverty and they have been pulled into this AIDS blanket as if they are dealing with what’s happening in the west which is a completely different phenomenon.
CC- What sort of response do you get from any other media?
ME- Well, we’re ignored, or if we do get attention we’re marginalised.
I asked a question asking ‘do you get abused for what you do’, I edited it because I was dyslexic.
ME- In the past there were lots of vicious name calling, homophobic, racist, murderers, misogynists, every time we challenged an official policy.
You know, women were included in the AIDS banner in a very devious and ugly way.
A woman who allegedly tests positive and has cervical cancer is called an AIDS case, but you could find the identical cases of cervical cancer in women who don’t have HIV, so you think that a thinking person would say why call it an AIDS case simply because the person tests positive, but that allowed the officials to create the impression that AIDS is affecting women. Now, many women were aware of this fraud and allowed it because women weren’t getting as good medical care as men and they figured who cares what we call it as long as we get better medical care, but that medical care has been chemotherapies which are killing these women.
So they thought what’s a little lie going to do and that little lie is killing them.
CC- Are aware of problems with things like pregnancy causing a HIV positive test?
ME- You know we are and we’ve taken the position as a group that every HIV positive test is presumptive and people have to understand what that means, by presumptive I mean there is no proof, absolutely no scientific proof, anywhere on the planet that one person is infected with an HIV. These tests within their manufacturer’s inserts, the package inserts of these tests, clearly indicate they do not prove infection.
CC- What sort of things are happening on the HEAL front?
ME- Well, we’re hanging in there by the skin of our teeth trying to survive. We’ve been doing this for 22 years out of our own pockets. If you are a mainstream AIDS organization there are millions of dollars in funding from the pharmaceutical industries or from the government but if you’re an independent organization and you challenge the official view, you can’t use that funding in good conscience because it comes with strings, it comes with technical assistance, it comes with people telling you what you can say and what you can’t say. So we are all volunteers, no one gets a salary and our struggle is just paying to keep the phone lines, just raising little bits of money to keep the internet website going, just trying to keep meetings happening.
So for us part of the struggle is just surviving as a not for profit organization and that’s not a pretty picture and this is a particular rough time.
CC- Have you got anything else you should say at the moment?

CC- I’m going to interview Kim in a moment, probably in the next half hour or so.

Although I am not a medical doctor or virologist, after 20
plus years of studying and helping people with HIV/AIDS
related fears and conditions, I believe that the whole
thrust of AIDS research, and the prevention and treatment of
HIV needs to be urgently reconsidered.
In my opinion, if the scientists and doctors who read the
on-line postings that are questioning the proclamations of
the HIV-orthodoxy cannot be trusted to evaluate the evidence
offered and reach their own conclusions the very prestige,
authority and credibility of medical science itself is at

Couple of articles of his below. Michael alerted me a lot on the links between depression and disease.
Enough for me to use terms like ‘Hi-tech Voodoo’ for some modern day pathology tests such as HIV.
These may explain that concept.
1. A I D S P h y s i c a l B a s i s
The war on cancer was an embarrassing failure for the First Church of Corporate Medical Science. This and similar disasters have sent huge and growing numbers of people toward alternative forms of health care. As widespread medical dependency continues to diminish, the Church has been forced into a frantic scramble to reinforce its Divine Authority. A life-threatening epidemic was just what the doctor ordered.
In 1981, a handful of socially irresponsible scientists based in the Public Health Services’ Epidemic Intelligence Service, were looking to save face and to ensure their agency’s continued existence. Always on the lookout for clusters of illness with which to whip up public hysteria, they can then justify not only their own existence but widespread publicly-funded mass immunizations and expensive medical treatments. They failed miserably with the swine flu and Legionaires disease, had moderate success with herpes, but then they hit the jackpot.
They came upon a handful of seriously ill gay men who had histories of heavy drug use and sexually transmitted diseases. Asserting their illness to be the result of an immune deficiency exclusive of any drug toxicity, these scientists actively sought out heroin addicts and hemophiliacs with their commonly associated opportunistic infections, and then decided to throw into the pot some Florida-based Haitians with their endemic TB. Mix these unrelated groups and situations together and decide ahead of time that they have to be linked by an undiscovered retrovirus and viola – AIDS!
The deadliest disease ever known, it is 100% fatal and everybody is at risk. Bingo! We’re right back in the corporate trance. Billions and billions of dollars are being spent with our full and uncritical consent on an epidemic that never was. Once again Corporate Medical Science rules, backed by the media and the many thousands of other private and public organizations that they fund.
How could it have happened? If it is all a lie, how did it get to be this big? We are unwittingly and in many cases quite wittingly participating in genocide against gay men, IV drug users, the poor, and people of color. How? Why? If we only thought about it, we could see that AIDS doesn’t spread. It develops in people who have overwhelmed their natural defences with many long term toxic assaults. Overwhelming levels of antigenic stress are what give the physical basis and reality to “AIDS.” Hysteria and iatrogenic poisoning are what fill in the gaps.
2. T h e G o a l O f H y s t e r i a
So lets look at the hysteria, the poisoning has been discussed elsewhere (2). AIDS was never 100% fatal. It was never even close. Yet hundreds of thousands of people living in terror have become the pawns and devotees to the mass hypnosis that is AIDS. The basis for the terror is a sense of helplessness in the face of illness and death. Until illness is recognized as an ally to be respected and not an enemy to be destroyed, and death is recognized to be a natural part of the life cycle, these irrational fears will remain and medical dependency will endure.
But there are other, more poignant factors. For many of these people, HIV/AIDS is the cure of a broken life. In a very perverse way it gives their lives and deaths meaning. Having HIV/AIDS has become a career, a badge of belonging, and many are receiving more attention and care than ever before. These people need AIDS. They have become addicted and do not want to lose their new found esteem! Unfortunately, in our opinion, these people cannot be saved.
There are others who need AIDS also. Do not forget. Medicine is a business. And like any other business it is profit-oriented, competition wary, and puts considerable effort into convincing us we need its dangerous goods and services.
But one key difference blinds us to this fact. Medicine deals in a very direct and immediate way with issues of life, death, sex and drugs. And if anything can entrance us and stir hysteria, panic and irrationality it is issues of life, death, sex and drugs. Because people fear illness, the slightest hint of something changing or happening in their bodies sparks hysterical reactions. And hysteria is the music to which white-coated authorities, the majority of which are blinded by their own dogma, sashay their way into our hearts, our souls and our wallets.
These are among the very powerful interests which maintain a conspiracy of silence, keeping crucial information, like recoveries and fraud, under wraps. Hysteria is necessary to divert attention away from these vital issues, the unconscious goal being to fuel a sense of accomplishment without really changing anything.
Again, billions and billions are being made and spent on HIV/AIDS. And the tension of CRISIS is a perfect substitute for creative and satisfying work and relationships. Many individuals in the major AIDS organizations are now living the financially secure lives they’ve always wanted to live. There’s just this inconvenient nuisance of sick and dying people.’

CAN WE TALK?
Cultural hypnosis, group fantasy and psychogenic death have profound social functions. They collectively serve to keep everyone’s attention off anything in life that matters like real love, health and happiness. They specifically serve to keep our attention off anything which threatens the focus of this paper –the Big Lie that: within a world in crisis, everything is OK.
Experts and officials also have a social function. If you think about it, when dealing with personal Big Lie issues, people not only expect to be lied to, but they depend upon it. As long as the lies have a seed of ‘truth’ it gives those who need it an opportunity to dismiss messy things like the role of self-responsibility in health and illness, not to mention things like economic injustice, political exploitation and most of all medical murder. And the experts all happily oblige; after all, they need the Big Lie too. Without it they would have to acknowledge their racism, sexism, homophobia, exploitation and countless other crimes against humanity.
PROTECTIVE STUPIDITY
When dealing with this sort of group think, the only thing we can be sure of is that nobody is thinking. This is confounded by the fact most hypnotized people cannot appreciate that they are already in a hypnotic Big Lie-protecting trance. In fact most people become irritated, defensive or even hostile at the mere suggestion, because once hypnotized there is a spontaneous impulse to defend the resulting mythology. Orwell called this “protective stupidity”. (Orwell, G. “1984”)
This defensive reflex is in itself evidence of the trance as without the trance a person would simply consider the information being presented. When in a trance however, one will dismiss as out of hand “dangerous information”, i.e., any information which threatens the Big Lie view of the world or which suggests taking responsibility and/or action around issues of one’s own health and happiness, particularly in the social realm.
This is what makes it so very challenging to help people realize that they have been culturally brain-washed throughout their lives (hypnotized without their knowledge or consent). Without the Big Lie, the true state of the world would be emotionally devastating.
The group fantasy ends up serving a powerful survivalistic and anxiety-regulating function. One is not even permitted to think about it let alone discuss it.
